Oh holy hell...... Vacation is over already?
I'm back but my head is no where near on straight yet. I'm not even sure what day it is, where my clean underwear are or why there's still a giant green suitcase in my bedroom. (That would be because you haven't finished unpacking it yet, Loser!).
So, any new and fun posts are still days away. I just wanted to post this so I could feel like I was back to my normal, some what crazy routine of working, blogging, mom-ing, and running around like a crazy person.
PS- I got sun burn between my Tah-Tahs.... who does that?
If anyone asks, it's a birth mark :)

Advocare 24 Day Challenge Recap
Yesterday I completed the Advocare 24 Day Challenge. Since you all had to read all about my daily activities on this Challenge, I figured it was only fair to let you know my results and give you a quick overview of my thoughts now that all is said and done.
A lot of people have asked me if I would do the challenge again. My answer:
Probably, but not any time soon.
Overall, I found the challenge to be easy to navigate, once you develop a routine, isn't smooth sailing. I didn't find the "clean eating" program to be much of a problem. I'm used to pre-planning my menu and packing my lunch every day. Most of the recipes I used on daily basis are either already pretty clean and only needs minor tweaks here and there. However, I will say, I missed knowing that I could just order pizza on Saturday night. We don't do it all that often but heck it would have been nice.
My only real issue was remembering to take 4 different supplement packs, plus omega plex and catalyst every day during the Challenge Phase. I don't always know when I'm going to have a free minute to eat. So, having to wait 30 minutes after taking my first set of supplements for breakfast and lunch was irritating on certain days. It probably didn't help that I had Rx Eye Drops and a Z Pack to worry about during all of this too. Extra stuff to remember to do/take just added to the craziness.
I certainly feel great. My energy level is through the roof, my skin looks fantastic, there is less jiggle in the wiggle. Could I have achieved most of this from just plain clean eating and determination, probably.
Truly, my only beef is that the product lines are pricey. I'm an advocare distributor and even with the discount, it's an investment. I will probably scale back on what I buy for the time being seeing as we're trying to get pregnant. But I will continue to keep drinking Spark and I may add their muscle building powder to my green smoothies in the morning.
And now, my results:

And now, my results:
| Starting Point | After Cleanse | Difference | End Results | 14 Day Difference | Total Difference | |
| Weight | 142.6 | 139.2 | 3.4 | 138 | 1.2 | 4.6 |
| Jeans Size | 8 | 8 | 8 | |||
| Waist | 35.75 | 35 | 0.75 | 34.5 | 0.5 | 1.25 |
| Hips | 39.5 | 38.5 | 1 | 37.5 | 1 | 2 |
| Right Thigh | 23 | 22.5 | 0.5 | 22 | 0.5 | 1 |
| Left Thigh | 22.75 | 22.25 | 0.5 | 21.5 | 0.75 | 1.25 |
| Right Arm | 11.5 | 11 | 0.5 | 11 | 0 | 0.5 |
| Left Arm | 11.75 | 11.25 | 0.5 | 11.25 | 0 | 0.5 |
| Right Calf | 13 | 13 | 0 | 13 | 0 | 0 |
| Left Calf | 13 | 13 | 0 | 13 | 0 | 0 |
| Chest | 38 | 37.5 | 0.5 | 37.5 | 0 | 0.5 |
| Total | 4.25 | 2.75 | 7 |
7 inches and almost 5 pounds gone in 24 days. Nope, can't complain about that.
I'm slightly convinced my weight loss may be skewed based on the fact it's not the best time of the month for me. I'll let you know if I see any difference in the next few days.
I definitely leaned out, big time. I see the biggest difference in my shoulders and back and in my mid section. While I'll probably always be thicker in my middle, the mom pouch has definitely diminished!

Going forward... my plan is to focus on clean eating 80% of the time and continuing to workout, drink lots of water and take good care of myself. And to slowly back away from my toddler's high chair tray and stop finishing his macaroni and cheese for him. Easier said then done, right?

Advocare 24 Day Challenge: Day 24
LAST DAY*LAST DAY *LAST DAY
Menu:
Wake Up- 3 Catalyst
30 Minutes Prior to Breakfast: Yellow MNS Max Packet of Supplements*
Breakfast: White Supplement Packet and Meal Replacement Shake
7:00- Spark
Mid Morning- Apple and a Cheese Stick
30 Minutes Prior to Lunch- Catalyst (3) and Yellow MSN Max Packet
Lunch - Hummus Chicken with Sweet Potato and Broccoli
3:00ish- Spark
Mid Afternoon: Apple and Almonds on my way to a meeting
Dinner: Shepard's Pie with Whipped Cauliflower Topping (instead of potatoes)
Drink Water, then Drink Some More Water, after that... More Water to beat the bloat.
Yesterday was full of ups and downs. I had a full morning of meeting and appointments. I was able to do a quick stop off at my house for lunch and then got into the office and didn't sit down for the remainder of the day. I got my snacks and meals in while running around and at work just fine.
The issue was being at home. I didn't like my dinner. My chicken didn't reheat well and tasted like total ass.
So I ended up eating asparagus, brown rice, a cheese stick, some apple slices and a little bit of hummus for dinner. I also had a couple of bites of Ryan's grilled cheese.
And then I ate nutterbutters with Ryan..... and a chocolate star cookie. And I could have eaten a crap ton more but I stayed away.
Needless to say, my will power it as an all-time low.
I also didn't drink enough water yesterday so the bloat is going on strong. Being a girl is pretty crappy sometimes, don'tcha think?

Workout:
Jillian Shed and Shred Levels 1 and almost all of 2
I had hoped to get in the entire workout this morning. Unfortunately, I just ran out of time. However, I feel confident that I could have completed the final two circuits if I had enough time. 60 minutes gets your through the warm up, all of Level 1 and through the first 3 circuits of Level 2.
All in all, great workout. I love how strong I feel.
Seeing as it's "." week. I want to eat all the things. I'm trying really hard not to do that.

It felt really nice to be back in the saddle again, that's for sure!
Today I ran from meeting to meeting to appointment to appointment to work where I just now sat down. I'm pretty sure I have a spring attached to my ass. Tonight will be no different.
I have to clean all the things after the boy goes down.

Notes from Yesterday:
At first I felt pretty bad about it, but I let the stress go. I wasn't feeling well, I rested instead.
This morning I felt 100% better and I rocked it out. Tomorrow... oh just wait.... I am attempting Shed and Shred Levels 1 and 2. Because I am crazy!
I have decided I'm just going to give it a go and see what happens. No pressure.

I have every intention of doing Jillian's Level 2 Shed and Shred.
Unfortunately, I woke up with a miserable headache- thanks to that wonderful time of the month.
Thus, I went back to sleep in an attempt to sleep it off. Which did not work, in case you were wondering.
My hope is to get Ryan to bed tonight and do something workout related
Today's biggest challenge will actually be this week's biggest challenge and that is trying to fit it all in. We have a lot to do before we leave next week.

Workout:
Despite not feeling well, I did get in an AB workout every day. I'm pretty proud of myself on that one. (Truth be told, I only did the AB workout because it meant 20 minutes of peace and quiet for me.)
My whole weekend was pretty much a wash. Friday afternoon my Dr. diagnosed me with bacterial bronchitis and sent me home with a Z Pack, and prescription cough medicine. I was given strict orders to go home, rest, put my feet up and let my body rest.
That would have been all well in good, except, someone needed to go to the grocery store, let my parent's dog out, go to the pharmacy, pick up the boy from daycare, make dinner, do the laundry, etc. etc. etc.
Since Mr. Berg was still laid up with the stomach flu. The person to do all those things was me.
Honestly, I'm not beating myself up too much over all of this. I kept the household running, my toddler was happy and feed. Mr. Berg had plenty of toilet paper, and the dog got let out on schedule.
We are all feeling better this morning and ready for a great week.
